Northern Crack Sealers Inc. offers grinding services for deflective/uplifted asphalt and concrete surfaces. Successful methods of grinding trip hazards has resulted in multiple successful projects for many communities, municipalities, and cities that require trip hazard solutions to restore the safety concerns of pedestrian side walk systems, store entrances and commercial/industrial work locations.

NCS Inc. has perfected these grinding methods using specially designed equipment and also by introducing vacuum collecting systems. This system collects debris and dust making each project an environmentally safe project for workers and the general public.

NCS Inc. has also perfected methods of grinding around manholes and catch basin locations. These locations allow water to build up into collection points. Grinding these areas reduce the extreme cost of replacing asphalt and concrete projects.

Our grinding is unique in the fact that the final product provides a non-slippery surface. Commonly used hand grinders do not achieve the required angle for gradual inclined projects, and also leave behind a smooth, slippery surface. A progressive, non-slippery incline is necessary in order for the person or vehicle to travel safely between adjacent slabs of concrete.

Sidewalk hazards, street and driveway curbs hazards, bridge joints and other concrete areas are common projects for the scarifier.
